Responsibilities:
- Drive financial forecast, yearly budget, and managerial financial reporting
- Develop and maintain the budget (3 financial statements) and rolling forecasts (P&L and cash forecasting), maintaining a close understanding of the business risks and opportunities
- Lead implementation of financial planning and consolidation tool
- Lead the Monthly Management Reporting Pack process
- Create executive dashboards of key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Support the Finance Business Partners colleagues by:
- Helping with components of projects financial analysis and planning (Debt and Equity financing, new business models, etc.)
- Providing support to Reporting cube system implementation (New Business models)
- Support development of 5 Year Plan financials
- Understand the details and drivers of all the different business models:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business; attempt to know the business as well as the colleagues you support
- Maintain knowledge of the budget/forecast to be able to speak to a variety of different crops/strategies/geographies
- Develop strong partnerships with:
- Accounting team to align on overall reporting needs and standardized reporting packages, including flux analysis
- Financial Operations team to optimize the service delivery of standardized reporting
Competencies:
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills/potential, with strong Excel skills
- Financial Modeling experience, with strong MS Excel and Power-Point skills
- Enjoys working cross-functionally in a positive and team-oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter and desire to learn and develop skill sets
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Takes ownership in work
- Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping the company to execute to achieve goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in financial analysis, and forecasting
- Finance, consulting, private equity, or strategy experience
- Experience using financial planning and consolidation tools
- Project Management skill is a plus
- Agriculture experience is a plus
