The Finance team prepares, verifies, and leverages financial information to drive strategic decision making by senior management. The team maintains the books and financial records for the company and generates insights and transparency by conducting detailed, thoughtful analyses. By partnering with colleagues throughout the organization, the Finance team helps to ensure that all departments are successful in achieving their goals and driving the company’s growth.

Summer Internship

In this role you will:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s budget
• Build detailed financial models to support the rolling financial forecast
• Represent the finance team as a business partner for departments throughout the company
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings and recommendations to senior management
• Assist in the development and updating of key metrics to gauge the company’s health and operations
• Support the process of regularly reporting financial results to the company’s Board of Directors
• Assess profitability and conduct margin analysis for the company's suite of products
• Help scale the company’s operations by assisting in the evaluation, implementation, and improvement of financial reporting systems
• Participate in the monthly close process through account reconciliations and other duties as needed
• Assist with daily accounting transactions, including payables, billing, and cash application
• Identify areas for improvement in the monthly close process and present findings to senior management

What We Look For:

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field at an accredited educational institution
• Strong background and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage and meet deadlines
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills - ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues of all seniority levels throughout the organization
• Knowledge of financial statements
