The Director of Treasury will be responsible for global cash management, cash forecasting, relationships with banks and creditors. In addition, the Director of Treasury will be responsible for evaluating and managing interest rate and foreign currency hedging programs.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CFO, lead treasury and cash management operations and helps develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
  • Works directly with banks to conduct borrowing and investing activities.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
  • Manages and ensures compliance with existing and future credit facility covenants
  • Recommends and implements improvements to current cash management processes.
  • Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to Treasury.
  • Oversees cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, intercompany settlements, interest income and expense forecasting, short-term investing and borrowing, wire payments, fraud prevention, FX management and hedging, bank account setup and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
  • Understands and manages appropriate procedures and processes around month-end and quarter-close activity.
  • Ensures adherence to PN21, SOX controls, FBAR, FATCA, DODD Frank, including record keeping and data testing as requested.
  • Provides financial analysis to executive management.
  • Conducts research into variances and determines explanations.
  • Assists with M&A and integration activities for Treasury.
  • Assists with accounting, FPA and business questions.
  • Manage and trains Treasury staff personnel on operational activities and developmental goals.
  • Manages insurance renewal process including application/supplemental forms, understands and minimize insurance exposure and requests certificate of insurance
  • Overseas Company's Corporate Credit Program
  • Maintains relationships with payment processors and related systems

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
  • 5-8 years of relevant treasury or corporate finance experience with emphasis in cash management, forecasting, and analysis
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • MBA preferred
  • CTP preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
