Director Of Treasury

Responsibilities:

The Director of Treasury is responsible for leading Indigo’s treasury operations including strategic direction for banking and cash management, short-term cash forecasting, and foreign exchange hedging. The ideal candidate will have experience in the areas of international treasury, liquidity management, investments, operations, and managing counterparties/banking relationships.

  • Establish daily cash positioning for operating entities, monitor cash and global bank accounts
  • Direct the cash management function including cash flow forecasting and analysis, cash concentration, wires, account funding
  • Manage inter-company cash, including inter-company lending, dividends, and capital injections
  • Manage borrowing needs to facilitate an efficient use of company’s debt resources
  • Assist with debt financing in international locations
  • Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs and invest short term excess cash
  • Manage all bank account administration including opening/closing new accounts as needed for newly created legal entities
  • Own day-to-day bank relationships; negotiate bank and service fees
  • Manage monthly reporting and other ad hoc requests for lenders
  • Develop, maintain and monitor treasury operational policies and procedures to ensure a robust internal control environment in Treasury and across Finance
  • Support the Treasurer in building a treasury infrastructure that will grow with the business
  • Implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash management and simplify company operations.
  • Manage bank account inventory, signers list, etc.
  • Establish global relationships within Indigo’s organization
  • Manage FX hedging and formalize execution plan for currency hedging policy
  • Provide support in:
    • Developing SOX level controls over the treasury function
    • Establishing a corporate credit card program
    • Automating cash processes with AP/Accounting
  • Understand Indigo’s business needs and offer clever solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8-10+ years of treasury management experience required
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation a plus
  • Broad global cash management experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of treasury operations, debt management, foreign exchange hedging required, and controls
  • Understanding of FX accounting preferred
  • Experience implementing treasury solutions and managing global banking platforms required
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
