Who you are
You are a highly strategic financial business partner. You bring your financial acumen to every discussion to ensure the team plans and aligns on the best path forward. You leverage your financial acumen to create strategic vision. Collaborating across the business, you are the person that knows and understands the business from every angle, ensuring every team is aligned to meet and exceed key objectives. Leveraging your business insight, you understand and are aware of current business trends and work to always maintain a competitive advantage.
You have 8+ years of financial analysis experience with leadership experience. Highly proficient in financial analysis methods, tools, and concepts coupled with strong understanding of GAAP.
What the role is
In the Director of FP&A you will serve as a business partner providing financial leadership and direction to business planning and analysis. You will report directly to our CFO and have the unique opportunity to impact the future direction of Drizly’s fast growing business. You will influence decision making with financial analysis and data providing insights for areas of focus and courses of action. In this role, you will be responsible for executing planning and reporting processes and ensure that Drizly has the systems and tools in place to support effective business analysis.
In this role you will:
- Drive the annual budgeting process across all functions and partner with stakeholders to align and plan to ensure the team is set-up for success
- Report and analyze business metrics and KPIs
- Develop and maintain projection models
- Partner with business leadership to analyze business opportunities, investments, partnerships, process improvement programs, and research various industry/company trends
- Analyze progress of business initiatives, report results, and recommend course corrections where appropriate
