The Commercial Finance team at Cybereason is seeking a Commissions Director. This role will manage the full cycle processing of commission plans and sales incentive payment calculation for all commissionable positions worldwide. This position be responsible for sales incentive plan design and will collaborate with finance, HR, and sales/services leadership to ensure operational alignment. The position is expected to lead and mentor the Commission Analysts on the team. We are looking for a candidate that is a partner to the business, comfortable owning a process, being diligent in ensuring accuracy in the memorializing of decisions and is comfortable taking initiative to solve problems and have difficult conversations. The position requires a high degree of attention to detail, and self-motivation to get things done with little management oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Foster a culture of trust, communication, transparency, and partnership with the various members of the business and Finance team.
  • Manage day to day operations of our sales and services incentive compensation plans globally, ensuring payments are accurate/timely and paid in accordance with the plan
  • Manage SPIFF programs globally
  • Maintain proper documentation of the commissions processes and related control
  • Train and mentor team members regarding commission processes and policy changes as appropriate
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers and sales leaders to address questions regarding compensation plans, and perform research as needed to help resolve issues, and develop appropriate solutions to resolve exception payment requirements
  • Respond to commissions related inquiries in a timely, diplomatic and professional manner
  • Ensure monthly reports are published on time and manage timely provision of ad-hoc reporting needs

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of professional Finance experience; with at least 5 years of experience managing sales incentive compensation
  • Experience administering a Sales incentive compensation system (experience with Performio a plus)
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Extremely curious - not satisfied with easy or convenient answers; drives issues to root cause
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
