As the Commission Associate, you will be an integral member of our dynamic and growing Finance team and will assume responsibility for reconciling transactions for sales and rental real estate closings.  You will ensure accuracy and timely completion of all sales-related contract and commission data processing. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the company, interacting daily with agents and the Finance and Accounting team.

At Compass You Will:

  • Answer agent inquiries regarding commission status or re-route inquiries to appropriate departments
  • Respond promptly via email or phone to inquiries from agents and Sales Managers
  • Resolve inconsistencies between payment received, deal records, and payment disbursement requests
  • Perform quality control over our check log
  • Work with vendors to ensure company information is up to date 
  • Support commissions teams in updating internal systems
  • Communicate with co-brokes to research payment discrepancies, when necessary
  • Track open items and be proactive in reaching out to agents for updates on pending deals

What We Look For:

  • 1+ years of experience in an Administrative role, commissions or sales environment preferred
  • Very strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Google Sheets
  • Impeccable attention to detail and solid customer service instincts
  • Prior experience in real estate a plus
