Budget Analyst, Revenue

Responsibilities & Requirements
Seeking a Budget Analyst to build financial proposals, translate proposals into actionable budgets, and measure progress against those budgets for a growing organization; specifically supporting the revenue department.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budget against vendor, agency, event spend, etc. Support strategic plans and other initiatives from budget review and oversight.
- Examine budgets/requests to assess whether funds are appropriately allocated, budgeted and expended.
- Develop and roll out budget process for budget requests and approval.
- Develop budget and policy recommendations and accurately reflect them in appropriate systems.
- Identify funding adjustments necessary to improve operations or to conform to targeted spending levels
- Inform management of budget/policy issues and provide concise explanations and options for resolution
- Support the management of vendor contracts and procurement through budget review and allocation of spend.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written skills.
- Strong relationship management skills and the aptitude to develop this further.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and planning skills as well as a demonstrated aptitude for strategic consultation, and the ability to lead initiatives and prioritize accordingly.
- Experience with developing and managing budgets for complex spend variations to include splits across different departments.
