Job Summary

This role will be responsible for managing the Technical billing team which consists of 7-9 employees. This team is responsible for working with Product management, PS, R&D, and Finance to ensure we consistently deliver accurate billing data to the finance team, support the billing process of New Product Introductions, solve customer billing issues and work with a broad team to automate billing for the Enterprise Hosted products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 7-9 employees in Montreal and Pune, India
  • Work with Product Management, PS and R&D ensuring we have a process in place to pull data and bill our customers correctly for new and existing customers and Products.
  • The successful process will include Requirements, test cases and testing and working with teams across the division to enable us to bill our hosted customers on multiple products and with custom applications
  • Generate and analyze reports to ensure all client billing is captured for each billing cycle
  • Ability to set requirements and manage the delivery of Billing Development and DBA resources to ensure necessary systems are built and supported
  • Provide data/dashboards to OM, CSM’s, Bus Ops etc. on transactions volumes and trends across products
  • Establish and maintain billing policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting and control principles in a SOX-compliant environment
  • Lead process improvement initiatives with business areas whose functions provide input into billing.
  • Collaborate with business partners to determine business process and/or system enhancements needed to improve efficiency and remediate areas that give rise to billing discrepancies.

  • Team Player . Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
  • Experienced. 8+ years’ experience in related role. Software industry experience strongly preferred - strong understanding of software business models and deal structures is essential

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
