Accounts Receivable Manager
The Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the order-to-cash cycle in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper invoicing that adhere to company policies and meet customer requirements, ensuring an efficient collection process to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debts, and providing effective leadership regarding all aspects of the revenue cycle process.
Responsibilities
- General oversight over the order-to-cash cycle in a high-volume, multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with all levels of the sales department to ensure all orders adhere to the company Booking Policy
- Responsible for meeting all month and quarter end financial deadlines
- Assist in preparing and organizing data to ensure successful external audits
- Ensure all customer invoices are properly coded for internal reporting purposes including revenue recognition, retention rates and renewal pool calculations
- Prepare data used for monthly commission calculations
- Prepare journal entries and perform GL account reconciliations as part of the financial close process
- Maintain compliance with Credit and Collections Policies
- Perform credit and background checks for companies requesting credit
- Monitor monthly KPIs including DSO
- Prepare monthly cash forecasts
- Calculating bad debt reserve based on periodic review of overdue accounts
- Responsible for ensuring accurate calculations for domestic sales tax and international VAT requirements
- Ad hoc reports and projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum 5+ years of accounts receivable and accounting experience, with leadership experience
- High level of integrity
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, research skills, and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, high demand, results oriented environment
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup) required
