Summary
The Escrow Disbursement Specialist is responsible for providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers, accurate data entry of new loans, payments, and General Ledger items while servicing mortgage and consumer loans. This role is also responsible for timely and proper disbursements for real estate taxes, hazard insurance and PMI. Must be flexible for overtime and additional duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Disbursements of PMI, Hazard Insurance and Real Estate taxes.
- Review TARs and manage the CoreLogic relationship.
- Manage the insurance vendor relationship.
- Reconcile escrow disbursement general ledgers.
- QC new loan setup to ensure escrow addenda are accurate.
- Pull and review reports.
- Review escrow analysis.
- Update customer files as needed.
- Report writing (Using Business Analytics software and Excel)
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years banking experience processing escrow disbursements.
- Familiarity working with real estate tax vendors and municipalities is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, ability to work with others, willingness to learn new concepts, adaptable to frequent change and strong sense of ownership
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Effectively and accurately communicate with all levels within the organization
- Proven performance working both independently and as a team member
- Flexibility to prioritize, balance, and respond to competing needs within a growing organization
