Marketing Web Developer
Bullhorn is looking for an experienced Marketing Web Developer to join the marketing team. You will develop incredible web experiences for our customers and prospects, ultimately helping to drive the demand generation engine for the company.

As a Marketing Web Developer:
You will be tasked with trying new tactics and suggesting ways to make our site more engaging and user-friendly through code. You also have a deep understanding of web development, usability, and is comfortable coding complex, responsive layouts from scratch.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and deploy new code for website enhancements in a timely manner and without error
Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
Report and monitor website health and performance
Create quality mockups of web pages on tight timelines and present to key marketing stakeholders
Collaborate with marketing team to create new web experiences and code complex and responsive layouts from scratch
Strategize around lead generation and innovation on bullhorn.com
Write functional requirements documents and specifications to provide to third party developers as needed
Provide website maintenance and enhancements across multiple web properties
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the website
Implement usability best practices
This job might be for you if:
You are a self-starter who is extremely agile, can handle many projects at once, and can solve problems independently. You will also be extremely collaborative - working with members across our global 50+ person marketing team to design unique experiences and also evangelize best practices for web content creation.
You have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required, in Computer Science a plus
2-3+ years’ experience as a WordPress Developer within a marketing organization or as a freelancer (software or tech industry a plus)
Extensive knowledge of WordPress and PHP
Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
Experience with CSS frameworks and JS libraries (Bootstrap, Foundation, Isotope, chart.js, etc.)
Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS, etc. )
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Experience with modern version control principles (git)
Experience with task managers (Grunt, Gulp, etc.)
Deep understanding of technical SEO best practices
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Basic understanding of networking principles and their protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP, etc.)
Adept at turning mockups into HTML / CSS with a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch
You have a portfolio of work or projects that you’d love to share with us
Ability to thrive as a self-starter and work in a team setting
Passion for design, user experience, marketing, and information architecture
Desire to continuously discover and implement new layouts from leading marketing sites
Bonus points for:
Experience working with APIs (specifically the WordPress REST API)
Experience working with WP Engine or a managed wordpress hosting provider
Experience working with Beaver Builder or another visual editor
Experience building WordPress Plugins from scratch
Design experience or other involvement in the visual arts a plus
