We are looking for a full-time Web Developer, Drupal to join our team. You will primarily responsible for front-end development, theming, and will be working in Drupal 8. This role will require a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) and familiarity of design best practices (design patterns, the color and font choices, etc.). The best candidates have a strong understanding of Drupal best practices, experience with responsive design and Drupal multilingual capabilities, and solid back-end knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

  • Custom web application development for Drupal 8 in a LAMP environment

  • Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing company site

  • Contributing ideas and efforts towards internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions on various problems

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Drupal 8 hands-on development experience (samples of applications that you have worked on are required)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience)

  • Advanced site-building experience in Drupal 8 including theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer, custom module development, key contributed modules, core API.

  • Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Strong understanding of AJAX, SASS, and front-end build tools (Babel, Gulp, Yeoman, npm, Bower).

  • Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture

  • Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites and knowledgeable in Drupal security best practices.

  • Familiarity with Git source control systems.

  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, marketing).

  • Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges

Experience that would be a plus

  • Experience with the Acquia platform.

  • Knowledge of SEO coding best practices

  • Knowledge of Pattern Lab
