Duties and Responsibilities: 

We seek an experienced Sr Software Development Engineer for Test (SDET) to join our team and play a role in the development and maintenance of automated tests for our core platform. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Participating in various design and backlog refining discussions
• Automating system, integration, and component level regression test cases
• Expanding existing or introducing new automation frameworks to support implementation and execution of automated tests
• Participating in CI/CD discussions and implementation
• Performance and scale testing
• Collaborating with other developers and project stakeholders to ensure quality of  deliverables and business requirements are met

Required Education and Experience: 

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience in software quality assurance testing
• 5+ years of practical experience in automated testing
• Experience building automation frameworks
• Experience creating automation with Python.  JAVA experience is preferred.
• Experience using Selenium for automated browser based testing
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitLab, Jenkins and building test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desired Experience:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
• Experience with using AWS (Amazon Web Services) for test infrastructure
• Experience with Docker and software containerization
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Maven and/or Gradle build automation tools
• Experience with Git version control system
• Prior experience with Application Security
