Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Java/PCF Microservices Developer role. Candidate MUST have hands on experience with PCF. Position is remote and will be working Eastern Time Zone Hours.  

• Designing, coding, and unit/integration testing using Perficient methodology.
• Debugging and troubleshooting code related issues and defects.
• Producing client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well-documented code.
• Gaining an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each engagement to facilitate the most appropriate solution design.
• Practicing strong configuration management and version control.
• Representing Perficient professionally in both client and team situations.
• Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, and ensures project learnings are documented and shared .

• 5+ years of Spring and REST/SOAP services experience
• 5+ years experience in Spring Boot and Microservices
• 3+ years experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and PAAS platform ( VMware Tanzu).
• Expeirnece in RabbitMQ/kafka and Pivotal cloud services.
• Good to have - experience in Cloud technologies like Pivotal, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiar with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong debugging, problem solving, and investigative skills with the ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages, etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence
• Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge
• Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including questioning, listening, idea development, permission and rapport, and influencing
