Description

The Hyperion Technical Developer builds Oracle EPM solutions based on business requirements. These solutions involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Roles Essentials:

Essbase / EPM Planning (on-premises and/or Cloud)

• Knowledge of software development concepts
• Ability to write/tune Calculation Manager Business Rules, load rules, report scripts, MaxL scripts based on requirements
• Managing Application security
• Design and develop allocations using Business Rules
• Experience with using LCM to migrate objects
• Design Planning Forms: including Rules, Menus, Smartlists
• Metadata maintenance and automation
• Strong ASO and BSO experience
• Performance troubleshooting
• Smart View
• Knowledge of Essbase.cfg settings
• Shared Services and/or Cloud MyServices security
• Essbase Filters
• Substitution variables

Role Desirables

• Experience with other Oracle Hyperion Applications including: Hyperion Planning, HFM, FCM, DRM, Smart View
• Experience with FDMEE or Data Management
• Knowledge of basic SQL concepts and experience with Oracle databases
• Experience using source control/code management systems
• Essbase CLI
• Knowledge and experience with UNIX shell scripts or Windows batch scripts
• UNIX commands

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years development experience in Hyperion Planning and Essbase
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
