Solutions Architect (Remote, US)

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to provide technical support and acumen to our Business Solutions Team, educating our prospects and partners of the features and benefits of the Algorand platform and providing effective proposals and technical solutions for use cases, supervising their development from the design phase to the deployment.
This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by new technologies, has a combination of technical and consultative skills, and has an interest in open source technologies, blockchain, and/or cryptocurrency.

Our Solutions Architects:

• Reviews business context of prospect and partner challenges and defines the technical requirements for the solution, recommends potential options, and helps select the most optimal option for success
• Assists stakeholders in designing/creating new solutions and porting existing solutions to the Algorand blockchain
• Communicates the technical approach to the stakeholders, and collaborates and coordinates with existing experts in the formalization and adoption of the selected solution
• Provide clear cost and time analysis of solutions architecture, including trade-offs among the different choices that leverage Algorand’s protocol features
• Support the completion of RFIs/RFPs/ARCs/etc
• Possess a strong understanding of our company, our competition in the industry, and positioning
• Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors; understand solutions implemented on other blockchains to best leverage Algorand’s strengths
• Are a key part of an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and creativity both internally and externally

Your Qualifications & Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s preferred; some sort of technical degree preferred
• 10-plus years of experience in product development and management or a related market (advanced education will be considered). 
• Previous experience in cryptocurrency projects, such as Ethereum or Bitcoin, and writing smart contracts
• Solid capabilities in a variety of software languages with demonstrated history of contributing to open source projects
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences, in a clear and concise manner
• Creative, approachable, energetic, “can-do” attitude with ability to change direction in a dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Working proficiency in written and spoken English
