The Server-Side Test Engineer will work with the development team and Product Management to help ensure the quality of the Vivox Voice Services through automated testing.

Vivox, part of Unity, is the leading provider of group voice communication for games and beyond. Responsibilities

• Write automated tests using Python in order to exercise the server side code 
• Code review feature development work
• Document the features covered and the tests written in support of them
• Learn Erlang and use it and the tools afforded by it to do load testing for backend services
• Knowledge of SCM software, especially Git
• A willingness and ability to learn new skills 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Requirements

• Proven programming skills
• Experience in at least one scripting language such as Python
• Ability to work on a fast-paced scrum team with loose product requirements and features that are actively changing in response to customer feedback
• Ability to analyze and diagnose complex client server applications with tools like tcpdump to analyze network traffic
