Software Quality Assurance Testing Co-op - January - June 2022

This position will start remote and will be expected to work onsite in Needham, MA in the spring.

We are looking for passionate individuals that have an interest in robotic vacuum software quality assurance testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building electro-mechanical test fixtures that enable us to measure consumer satisfaction and product reliability for SharkNinja’s current and future products. In addition, you will be creating test protocols and analyzing performance.

· Assisting in the testing of a variety of SharkNinja products

· Use data output requirements to design, build, and validate automated test fixtures

· Assisting in the development of new testing protocols

· Assisting in the teardown of SharkNinja and competitor products

· Documenting results and classifying issues along with pictures

· Researching consumer sentiment to drive KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and CSIs (Consumer Satisfaction Indicators)

· Perform data analysis using statistical tools to identify defect trends

Requirements

• A natural and effective communicator capable of reducing abstract concepts to reality in both oral and written form
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle
• Experience with Defect Tracking Tools
• Experience with Jira or similar and Test Case Management Tools
• Attention to detail in everything you do
• Comfortable expressing a point of view to challenge conventional thinking
• An inquisitive personality (builder or tinkerer)
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible in approach

Education & Preferred Experience

• The ideal candidate will have completed 2+ years in an Engineering degree program, while maintaining a 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA or better.
• 2021 grads will be considered
• Software programming or scripting experience (C++, Python, TTL)
• Experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi
• Working knowledge of O-Scopes, Digital Multimeters, Tachometers and general lab equipment
