What we seek We are looking for a hands-on Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead a small SQA team and drive process improvements that help Evolv release robust, high quality software faster. As we grow, we are investing in a CI/CD test automation framework to help speed regression testing, monitor test coverage, and track quality metrics, all with the goal of repeatable, maintainable, and measurable processes for releasing more reliable software. We need an experienced manager to both oversee and participate in day-to-day SQA activities and to take a strategic leadership view of our development, test, and release processes to help make them better. Our products include electro-mechanical Windows-based personnel scanners w/Android tablet GUIs, facial recognition systems and cloud dashboards. As our SQA Manager you will:
What you bring You have at least three to five years of SQA management experience, a passion for quality, and a track record of at least five successful projects or major code releases delivered start to finish. You also have prior experience growing an organization’s quality infrastructure and enjoy the challenges associated with introducing automated tests. You have strong knowledge of testing methodologies such as UAT, black- and white-box testing, system testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate has experience in the security systems industry on products involving embedded software, wireless, radio, networking, and automated sensing technologies. You are eager to learn and keep current with new technologies to improve software quality and engineering processes. You thrive on a small team in a fast-paced agile environment.
