The Precision Imaging Network is one of Nuance's critical new growth initiatives. The company's objective is to leverage its significant existing footprint in imaging to build a multi-sided network platform for AI powered imaging that Drives Value to All Key Healthcare Stakeholders across Providers, Health Plans, MedTech and Pharma.
This role requires a leader with solid technical skills that who works effectively with all cross-functional teams. Experience with Agile software development is required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
  • Works with product management to define product features, groom stories, and set priorities.
  • Acts as the technical lead creating designs and performing code reviews.
  • Creates and delivers presentations to share ideas and designs.
  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for safe.
  • Interviews, hires, mentors, and trains to create and maintain an exceptional staff.


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum years of work experience: 10+ Years
Required skills:

  • Dynamic speaker that loves to talk tech, motivate, and explain technical details
  • Experience leading a development team with Agile processes
  • Experience containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with REST APIs (client and server)
  • 5+ years of recent experience working in Java/Spring Boot
  • Cloud experience with compute, storage, queuing, databases, and load balancers
  • Demonstrated SQL experience including complex queries and stored procedures
  • Strong written and oral communications skills as well as excellent listening skills


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with healthcare systems and standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
