Software Engineering Director, International

Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable international products solutions
- Take full ownership of international products team’s backlog
- Become the go-to liaison for communication and alignment between product management, business development, and engineering
- Collaborate with People team to hire and build international products engineering team
- Develop growth plans and identify opportunities for direct reports
- Manage successful collaboration between internal team and dedicated outsourced teams
- Align team processes around sprints
- Facilitate contractor onboarding and ensure their delivery on IP
- Understand and embody Indigo’s mission and core values

Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience managing and hiring teams
- Proven track record of hiring to plan, with an appreciation for the importance of the hiring process
- Experience motivating teams against backlog
- Experience developing career paths for and mentoring direct reports
- Hands-on coding experience within the past year
- Mobile experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing agile development processes
- Experience working in an AWS environment
- Familiarity with workflow systems
- Experience with customer data security PCI/PII management and/or best practices
- Demonstrated passion for building strong relationships with international business stakeholders; willing to travel internationally as required
- Experience with international markets and/or product internationalization strongly preferred
