Boston area robotics startup Skylla Technologies is seeking a Software Developer to join the team.

Who We Are

We are a small team of capable engineers building a product to better integrate robots into human centered settings. As a small team we are tackling a lot of interesting problems including robot perception, navigation, hardware, distributed systems, integration, testing and release engineering.

We are looking for engineers who:

• Are smart, collaborative and friendly.
• Have experience integrating systems across networks and devices.
• Are interested in writing Python and or C++.
• Comfortable working with Linux.
• Can propose technical solutions and weigh trade-offs effectively.
• Interested in learning or using Postgres, Redis, ROS, Docker, Ansible, Gitlab CI.
• Bonus but not required:
  • If you are familiar with ROS
  • Have used Linux in industrial settings

In your first 6 months you will likely...

• Drive around a variety of robots
• Work with a small team on delivering systems to international customers
• Contribute to internal and external tooling enabling smooth robot development
• Engage with our friendly and talented team
• Partake in our Lunch and Learns that we do every other week
• Shape how the team works and grows
• Help our customers build robots that work alongside humans safely
