We’re looking for a candidate with strong Java experience who wants to build product and solve problems in healthcare IT software!

Primary Function / Overview:

• Design and implement software products or product features while leading minor engineering efforts or participate as a senior member on major engineering efforts

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software products and/or product features
• Unit testing
• Technical mentorship of team member engineers
• Collaborate and share technical knowledge
• Initiate and/or participate in technical architecture and major design discussions
• Maintain and improve existing software products/features

Required Experience:

• Previous work experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Team Lead working in object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate abstract technical concepts
• Self-starter, ability to work independently
• Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Required Skills:

• Strong object-oriented programming experience (Java preferred) 
• Passion for building products
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Hands on experience with relevant technical tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Demonstrated ability to research and acquire new technical skills independently

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Master's degree (preferred)
