Why Work For Us
Grubhub is a place where authentically fun culture meets innovation and teamwork. We believe in empowering people and opening doors for new opportunities. If you’re looking for a place that values strong relationships, embraces diverse ideas–all while having fun together–Grubhub is the place for you!
Our Ruby on Rails Developers build and maintain the core set of systems that power the restaurant ecosystem, an online ordering interface and network of dozens of mobile payments apps (maybe even the ones you use to order lunch) and point-of-sale integrations.
This engine powers a set of features used by dozens of major brands, enabling them to own their communication channel to incentivize first time and return visits for a varied customer base. Whether it's engaging diners for a new store opening or keeping your most loyal diners hooked, our rewards engine is the backbone of these interactions. Brands have the ability to segment their customer base on a number of dimensions from ordering frequency to brand engagement and in turn use these segments to better target users, communicate intent and distribute rewards. Our reward constructs are always evolving to stay ahead of the industry with features like a progress rewards store where diners use their hard earned points to buy tasty rewards.
