JOB DUTIES: Position will function independently to: analyze code at every level from the UI, the middle-tier, and backend services, down to the database, and recommend and implement changes as required; lead code quality assurance efforts on team; independently troubleshoot issues with and develop new key features on across the technology stack using: Java, .NET, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and several open-source technologies on Linux and Windows; collaborate with engineering and product teams to help develop high quality deliverables to our customers; mentor junior engineers; assist in translating business requirements into project plans; assess the system-wide impact of changes to be made; leverage best practices knowledge to bear on software implementation decisions.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field; and one (1) year of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a related position including the following: Experience using a first class, object-oriented language such as Java or C#; Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of computer science including data structures, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design; Linux and its standard utilities; Experience developing web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript; Experience documenting code and knowledge of best coding practices.
