The Role

As a Software Engineer on this team, you will have development ownership for an existing Windows-based application, written in Delphi. You will be responsible for the development of application maintenance, deployments/upgrades, integrations with other Veeva applications, and product enhancements. You will work with a tight-knit team to creatively solve challenges associated with a geographic and data-heavy application critical for life sciences customers. You should be a self-starter, who loves technical challenges and is willing to work with limited oversight or instruction.

What You'll Do

• Design, test, and develop Windows applications and integrations to other applications
• Code in a diverse environment (Delphi, Java, JavaScript, RESTful/SOAP web services, and native Windows Mobile)
• Participate in customer support by resolving defects and scaling operations for software delivery and maintenance
• Ensure customer success by ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience writing Windows applications in Delphi
• Experience working with relational databases (Access, MySQL, or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• B.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Management Information Systems
