Our talented interdisciplinary team in Cambridge, MA is growing! We are looking for the kind of people who are inspired just not by exciting technology, but by the opportunity to help build an engineering culture of rigor and excellence. 


Our software provides industrial robots with the perception necessary for them to collaborate safely and effectively with human workers. This means building a software team with the creativity to develop novel methods of robotic perception and control and the rigor and dedication to ensure that these solutions meet our reliability requirements in real-world environments.

You will:

  • Be a core architect and implementer of a highly reliable, blazing fast, real-time machine vision and robot control pipeline
  • Develop highly reliable algorithms using 2D and 3D vision data including registration, object classification and tracking, 3D reconstruction
  • Optimize algorithms for high performance CPU and GPU computing platforms
  • Keep up with relevant developments in computer vision and/or robotic perception through literature searches, networking, conferences, etc

You are:

  • A highly experienced software engineer who has developed C++/Linux systems from concept through production
  • Experienced in computer vision, machine vision, and/or robotic perception (and/or a strong command of linear algebra)
  • A first-principles thinker who can invent novel solutions to challenging technical problems
  • Comfortable following a structured software development process required for functional safety certification, including development of rigorous unit and systems tests
  • Willing to operate outside your area of direct expertise to solve hard problems with the rest of our cross-disciplinary team

Bonus points:

  • You have developed software for regulated environments such as functional safety or medical devices
  • You have a background in physics, mathematics, mechanical or electrical engineering, or other discipline that provides an understanding of the analog/physical world
