  • Our Opportunity:

    Chewy is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Portal and Mobile Developer to join our Technology Team based in Dania Beach, FL. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be a part of our ServiceNow Product Team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the maintaining the ServiceNow Portal(s) and Mobile application(s).

    This ServiceNow Developer will serve a fundamental role in increasing the ROI of the platform by improving the layout and design of current portals, drive improved team member experience and utilization of the ServiceNow platform. This person will work directly with the Corporate Systems technical Product(s) Teams to deliver technical solutions to solve business problems.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Research, plan, coordinate & implement application solutions from conceptual design to delivery
    • Help facilitate integrating ServiceNow with third party software, activating plug-ins etc.
    • Manage ServiceNow instances (dev, test, prod) including upgrade process and promotion of changes between environments
    • Investigate and troubleshoot application issues, performs root cause analysis and works with the team to recommend and implement resolution
    • Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact the platform
    • Receive requirements and deliver solutions that meets the needs presented
    • Monitor health, usage and overall audit compliance of the ServiceNow Platform
    • Author and maintain technical documentation
    • Play a tactical role in design, solutioning, and implementation sessions.
    • Help facilitate technical workshops and requirements discussions with business stakeholders
    • Configure/Customize ServiceNow applications, including creating workflows, tables, customize the UI, manage groups, roles and security permissions across the platform


    What you will need:

    • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow including development, configuration, integration, implementation, and upgrades
    • 1-2 years’ experience configuring the ServiceNow Mobile application
    • Minimum of 3-5 years front-end web development experience
    • Excellent sense for UI design
    • Create Wireframes and visual designs
    • Strong UI programming skills – strives for pixel-perfect UI Experience in Web UI, JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery, AngularJS or similar JS frameworks Strong knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, SCSS, SASS, HTML5, and HTML5 canvas
    • Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes and Glide API
    • Understanding of SharePoint configuration
    • Experience working within scoped applications
    • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
    • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Able to effectively communicate workload, risks and priorities to others
    • Experience delivering business solutions leveraging agile methodologies
    • Demonstrates the desire and ability to learn and utilize new technologies
