Job Summary

Summary

 

 

A Solutions Integrator who possesses a solid background in software development, troubleshooting and customer support. Provide hands-on solutions integration support for our customers who are building complex solutions using our Cloud-based Speech, NLU and Dialog Services. This includes creating developer assets such as sample code and technical documentation that help reduce developer friction and time-to-market while increasing solution performance and success. Assist with debugging issues that arise during the implementation phase. Work with internal and external teams to identify integration best practices that can be shared across all customer engagements.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

As part of the Enterprise Professional Services organization, the solutions integrator will be assisting customers with integrating their solutions using Nuance state-of-the-art speech recognition, NLU, dialog, and text to speech products on various platforms typically found in the mobile or content service provider market. Representative tasks will include:

  • Study technical requirements for customer applications and provide technical assets that assist customer development teams with their integration to our technologies.

  • Work with project teams within the scope of one or more customer projects to realize the project deliverables.

  • Support our customers’ integration teams and help them include Nuance technologies into successful products in an efficient way.

  • Attending integration workshops with customers.

  • Defining and monitoring solution integration measures that offer relevant insight into the integration performance of a customer's solution with our cloud-native services, and delivering integration performance feedback along with actionable guidance to internal and external project teams.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications - 

 

Education and years of Experience: 6-8 years of experience with a Bachelors or Masters degree.

 

Demonstrated strong skills in at least 2-3 of the following:

  • C / C++

  • Java

  • Python

  • Golang

  • Javascript / Node.js

  • Android

  • iOS

  • Software design skills.

  • Proven skills in working directly with customers

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision

  • Ability and willingness to handle period peak demands

  • Willingness to travel internationally

 

In addition to the above, experience in the following areas are preferred:

  • Speech Recognition or related technologies

  • Multiple OS Platforms, including Linux, OSX, Windows, iOS, Android

  • Embedded Platforms such as Raspberry PI

  • Ability to ramp up on new platforms, frameworks, programming/scripting languages in support of our customers

  • Databases / SQL, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MS SQL

  • Virtualization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant 

  • Data Analytics
