Bullhorn, Inc. seeks a full time Senior Software Engineer at our offices located at 100 Summer Street, 17th Floor, Boston, MA 02110. Position can be located anywhere in the United States.
Senior Software Engineer to serve as a member of the Info systems team responsible for maintaining data integrity, collecting data from various departments and syncing data to Bullhorn CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Job duties:
-Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including complex requirements analysis, application design, code development, unit testing, deployment, and documentation to ensure successful deployment
-Collaborate with the project team and business stakeholders to define the optimal user experience and interaction flow;
-Drive project initiatives and identify new technical standardization;
-Design and develop internal Bullhorn application that interacts with multiple systems;
-Write custom cloud applications on top of the Bullhorn platform, and build integrations using Bullhorn and 3rd party web APIs;
-Participate in daily standup meetings and weekly team meetings to discuss progress of various projects;
-Gather and analyze requirements, monitor the existing system and conduct technical analysis based on error reports to improve functionality;
-Develop Apex classes, Apex triggers, workflows, community portals and Lightning Component Framework in Salesforce
-Design and develop code, and implement MVC architecture in the application using Spring framework;
-Conduct quality reviews of code developed by other team members;
-Work with Stakeholders and Business Analysts to create test plans and test cases
-Provide guidance to other software engineers on the team.
Position Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related discipline, plus three years of experience in the Job Offered or in any software development role.
-Experience, which may be gained concurrently, to include each of the following: Three years of experience performing object oriented, data-driven software application development; Three years of experience in the design, development and implementation of web-based applications using JEE architecture; Three years of experience utilizing CI/CD tools and Jenkins to handle application build and deployments. Two years of experience utilizing Java EE, Spring framework, JMS, AWS, Amazon MQ, and JDBC; and Two years of experience implementing services to consume/publish REST API and SOAP API.
