We are seeking an experienced engineer who takes pride in building great applications using the latest technologies. In this role, you will help build new product lines for our risk management platform and take a leadership role in decision making around architecture. You will work with a team of engineers as part of LogicManager's expansion. You will collaborate with our Boston team in the development of new and existing products and will interface with your team daily to offer guidance and support on industry best practices. We believe even the toughest problems can be solved with innovative solutions.


This is a full-time opportunity for a strong lead to embed within our existing scrum development teams to then form a separate agile team to expand our development capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high quality software services and features, working with other engineers and product managers
  • Produce clean code and automated tests
  • Participate in, contribute to and continuously improve Agile software development processes
  • Participate in pilot projects evaluating new cutting-edge technologies
  • Strive for quality of performance, usability, reliability, maintainability and extensibility
  • Support development effort estimation
  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements
  • Grow your career through active participation in our company culture

Desired Skills & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing customer facing SaaS products
  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring, and Hibernate
  • Experience working with and designing RESTful APIs (AJAX, JSON)
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD and Agile
  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience or academic training on ML or AI is a plus
