The Senior Software Engineer at Definitive Healthcare:

Has more than 6 years of experience in a fast-paced Agile software development environment
Ensures software is built, according to business and technical specifications, on top of an error-free and high-performing platform
Contributes significantly to architectural decisions
Seeks ownership of platform components and projects
Performs code reviews
Mentors more junior members of the team
Participates in Agile ceremonies
Is always thinking of better ways to do something
Isn’t afraid to fail
Cares deeply about quality

Skills required:

Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
Can deliver high-quality software with minimal supervision
Advanced C# knowledge
Solid computer science fundamentals
Solid knowledge of front-end development (ReactJS, JavaScript, KendoUI)
Advanced understanding of databases (NoSQL, SQL, graph)
High-degree of understanding service-oriented architecture concepts
Advanced knowledge of and experience with design patterns
Deeply understands RESTful API design
Understanding of various types of testing (unit, system, integration, performance)
Knowledge of cloud computing and serverless architectures (Azure, Google Cloud)

Taking advantage of growth opportunities

Five years ago, Li walked into her manager’s office and told him she was looking to grow into a different role within the company. Together, they identified a path that made sense for her skill set to move out of customer success. Through LEAD, she was able to define a position for herself as part of the business’s sales and service operations team. And then in 2022 moved into a newly created customer marketing team.
