The Consumer Engineering Team at CarGurus is looking for a skilled Senior Software Architect who can help drive the efficiency with which we deliver and evolve our industry leading products. The team has embarked on an extensive re-architecture initiative as we migrate our frontend to a server-side rendered architecture. What You'll Do:
- Work in a fast-paced environment that allows you to push to production daily
- Be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle and work closely with the product team
- Share your technical expertise during architectural design discussions, technology selection, and hands-on mentorship
- Collaborate with your colleagues in a lively, congenial atmosphere
Who You Are:
- Proven full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React
- Deep understanding of modern JavaScript design patterns
- Experience with Express, NextJS, or similar
- Server-side rendered React experience is a major plus
- Passionate about writing performant, extensible code
- Self-led, capable of working with little direction
- Skilled communicator with a collaborative spirit
