Senior Devops/Systems Engineer in Boston MA. Ownership for cloud architecture and enabling technologies, such as software configuration management and continuous integration platforms, to deliver high-quality, robust online products at scale, including: architect/automate/support on-premises and public cloud infrastructure involving big data, database, logging, messaging and streaming technologies; provide tooling/best practices guidance to build robust, scalable web platforms that automate creation/extension of cloud infrastructure and software delivery pipeline; work in cross-functional teams to build software delivery automation (cl/cd) and code-as-infrastructure to manage internal services/automation based on key metrics; develop predictive models identifying potential failure, capacity and bottleneck challenges; advise on/design infrastructure enhancements to support new product/technology initiatives such as disaster recovery, high availability, and blue/green lane deployments; collaborate with engineering leadership to implement network and OS security best practices; troubleshoot infrastructure errors; participate in production incident resolution. Reqs: Master’s in Comp Sci, Info Systems, or related quantitative field; 2 yrs exp in in systems engineering (can be pre or post Master’s) with focus on systems analysis, design and development using C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server databases.
