Security Engineer
As a Senior Security Engineer at Bullhorn, you will be a key technical contributor to the cyber security program that will protect the business from external and internal threats. You will lead projects to implement new security tools, respond to security threats and/or incidents as well as overseeing the lifecycle of both network and application vulnerabilities. You will have time split between operational work to keep the established security responsibilities running smoothly and project-based work to help increase the security posture of the organization.
As a Senior Security Engineer, a typical day might include:
Managing security tools such as Firewalls, VPNs, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications to ensure proper configuration and operation
Assisting Security Leadership in projects, including implementation of new tools and monitoring network security systems
Managing an enterprise Network and Application Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence Programs
Helping to formulate and enforcing applicable security policies and employee security training programs
Reacting and investigating to security alerts and leading the security team in incident responses
This job might be for you if:
You have 3+ years Security Experience
You have earned a BA or BS degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science
You have experience in administration of with Next-Gen Firewalls, preferably Palo Alto
You pride yourself on your awareness of best practices in security, firewalls, network administration, and other aspects of networking
Knowledge of designing a comprehensive security program for SaaS applications and Corporate environments including Security Assessments, Risk Management, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Security Training
Bonus points for:
Security related certifications
Experience managing a software defined perimeter technology
Knowledge of a scripting language to automate tasks
Experience managing infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, Docker containers and Kubernetes, network administration, and cloud environments
