Release Engineer
Summary
Vestmark is seeking a mid-level build engineer to join our team and help maintain and improve our continuous integration stack. The position requires a blend of technical knowledge on Windows and Linux to provide administrative responsibilities for our build, deployment, and auditing environments. The position also requires a traffic cop to enforce processes, policies, and quality gates for each release.
Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience as a build and release manager for an enterprise software application
- 1+ years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with AWS
- Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Groovy, shell scripting
- Knowledgeable in software build, release and publishing best practices
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite, Rundeck, SonarQube, Nexus, Chef, Jenkins, Docker, GitHub
- Experience writing plugins for 3rd party applications
- Experience in Ruby, Terraform, Gradle, Maven
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and remotely
