We are presently seeking a talented and self-motivated engineer to work in Single Pass Jetting product R&D. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD and design skills coupled with lots of mechatronics and hands-on lab experience.

The R&D Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing mechatronic equipment to test and prove engineering concepts
  • Modifying existing equipment to match changing business needs
  • Manufacturing, assembling, and testing equipment
  • Collaborating with process engineers to review test plans
  • Working with an interdisciplinary team to perform detailed designs and analysis
  • Developing and maintaining design CAD models
  • Create and review concepts with engineering teams
  • Tolerance stack analysis
  • Maintaining high level of communications with cross-functional team and partners
  • Working closely with program management and technical teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in mechatronics design
  • Thorough understanding and use of technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Broad exposure to design and development practices including common engineering tools
  • History of integrating machines including hands-on lab and test work
  • Familiarity with a broad range of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
  • Familiarity with machine shop equipment and hand tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • BS/MS Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or equivalent
  • Solidworks proficiency

  • FEA – COSMOS, Ansys, or equivalent
