At HubSpot, we’re designing and implementing the industry’s most advanced enterprise video and conferencing systems. Leveraging advanced A/V technology, cloud services and analytics we’re managing systems that do millions of VC minutes per month, host globally streamed company and public events and building innovative private and community event spaces. We are a data driven organization and we’re bringing this focus on analytics to our A/V solutions.

We’re looking for an engineer to formally build the analytics discipline. They will lead the charge to store, organize, and report on disparate sources of information to make sure we’re continuing to improve the delivery of A/V and conferencing services. This engineer will use QoS data from video meetings, network data and customer feedback data to build dashboards, file bug reports and help implement remedial activities to ensure HubSpot employees and customers are getting great experiences when using A/V and video conference rooms.

The selected candidate must have an analytical mind, experience in designing datasets and using databases to extract relevant information for reports and on demand analysis. Familiarity with web conferencing, cloud conferencing and prior A/V experience is highly desirable. Here’s what you’ll be doing on a day to day basis.

• Ensuring that we’re capturing all relevant data from cloud systems, devices and user feedback
• Building dashboards and publishing easily consumable reports for technicians and management
• Filing bugs, jira stories, issues to ensure we’re addressing and fixing problems in a systematic way
• Working with engineers and technicians to evaluate system components and devices and recommending the best products for our employee and customer experience
• As needed helping spec and build A/V systems in HubSpot offices
• Tracking and helping ensure we meet our goals to reduce business interruptions and provide the highest quality experience in the industry.
