POSITION: Quality Assurance Engineer

WORKSITE: 226 Causeway Street, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA

Job Duties: Develop and integrate test automation frameworks in collaboration with other team members. Perform, develop and maintain functional, regression, and performance/stress tests for a continuous integration release cycle. Identify and implement new testing technologies for desktop sites, mobile web, iOS applications and APIs. Work closely with development and product management to identify testing needs and meet deadlines. Collaborate with engineers to find and prevent defects. Work closely with the web development and product team to assess test scope for new features, identify testability issues, and write tests. Relay quality assessments during development and release to the QA manager and development team lead, assist with bug triage, and work with developers to reproduce and write tests for bugs. Key member on QA team helping to drive our on-going automation efforts.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a QA engineer-related occupation. Position requires: 1. Test Automation role for web applications; 2. Experience developing and integrating test frameworks using technologies like: Jenkins, Watir, Jmeter, Gatling, QTP, Selenium, Ruby, Windows batch, Linux, PHP, Java, Javascript, MySql, XenCenter, EC2, Jira, SVN, Git, Wireshark, Fiddler; 3. Ability to identify test cases for new features and rapidly automate reliable and maintainable test cases; 4. Develop features with daily deployments; 5. Testing metrics, testing status reports, estimations, scheduling, triage, and defect trend analysis; 6. Develop, extend, and maintain a testing infrastructure including CI environments like Jenkins or Bamboo and VM environments such as XenCenter or Amazon EC2 and RDS); 7. Experience using modern software configuration managers such as Git or SVN; 8. Performance and load testing (apache bench, jmeter, gatling, HP loadrunner).
