Overview:

SimpliSafe is looking for a QA Engineer with experience in the hardware/firmware space to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about consumer electronics and is eager to shape the future of the IoT (Internet of Things) world.

• SimpliSafe Security System
• Connected (Wi-FI) Cameras
• Indoor
• Outdoor
• Battery
• Doorbell
• Connected Locks
• Connected Lights
• Partner integrations - Nest, Alexa, HomeKit, etc.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in hardware, firmware and/or device testing
• Passionately collaborative
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and as a team
• Familiar with agile concepts and how to work in an agile team
• Comfortable with the command line wherever it resides
• Experience and willingness to test up and down the stack (HW, FW, back-end, front-end)
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another technical field or equivalent work experience
