QA Engineer- Embedded/Hardware

What skills do I need?
- Understanding of complex applications.
- Have experience testing hardware and software.
- Readiness to learn new methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Have hands-on knowledge of test strategies and test case design and execution.
- You’re interested in adapting methodologies and tools common to hardware and embedded software testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the effort to meet quality standards, performance, and reliability of the hardware and software.
- Test embedded software on Tulip Hardware.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade hardware and software.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Work effectively with hardware and software developers to deliver quality software.
- Own release cycles at Tulip for both hardware and embedded software.
- Set and build the test strategy/plan; document, execute, and analyze test case results and create test reports.
- Help define quality metrics to provide transparency and improve test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measuring the progression of the Tulip hardware and software quality.
