Overview

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer/SDET to help build our automated testing framework. This work is in service to our suite of product offerings and underlying infrastructure within an evolving CI/CD framework. Some of the products and services include:

• Smart Devices
• Security System
• Internal/external Cameras
• Doorbell Camera
• Door Locks
• RESTful microservices (Node.js, PHP)
• Angular based web applications
• Native iOS and Android apps
• Online shopping/sales funnel/PHP CRM
• Fulfillment and shipping systems
• 3rd Party Integrations e.g. Nest, Alexa, Google Home, August Locks

About You

• 3+ years of QA experience with web and/or mobile technologies (functional or load testing)
• Experience in designing and automating test cases and test infrastructure
• Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs
• A team player with strong communication skills and a natural collaborator
• Experience with agile concepts and how to work in an agile team
• Comfortable with the command line wherever it resides
• Love building new things but realize that maintenance is half the battle, even for QA frameworks
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline

• Developing and testing in a microservice architecture
• Performance testing
• Security testing
• Node.js testing experience
• Building out test automation in AWS or other cloud environments
• Building out test automation with Docker
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation software (Terraform, Ansible, etc)
