As a core leader on the engineering team, you will help oversee the design and implementation of the Golang and Spring Boot containerized microservices that power our core platform.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for architecting new services running in Kubernetes hosted in AWS
• Leading and mentoring a team of full stack engineers
• Using Golang and Spring Boot to write GraphQL and RESTful as well as background jobs
• Working extensively with containers from local Development through to Production

Desired background:

• 10+ years of development experience in a language like Golang, Ruby, Python or Java
• 3+ years experience working with a major cloud provider AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Worked in an Agile environment and used TDD / BDD methodologies
• Built distributed systems using a message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS
• Hands on experience working with both SQL and NoSQL types of database
• Practiced continuous delivery and worked in environments practicing Infrastructure as Code (a bonus)
