Responsibilities:
Provides project management support for the manufacturing launch facility
- Provides expert level technical support to the manufacturing launch facility project
- Delivers on schedule, within the budget, and with high quality
- Provides on the floor support for the first successful manufacturing batch
- Provides training to manufacturing and facilities staff on the safe, efficient operation of systems
Analyzes and implement improvements for building and mechanical infrastructure systems
Effectively troubleshoots equipment and utility issues in a timely manner
- Provides direction to junior personnel, consultants, and contractors
- Develops a system for commissioning utility equipment
- Provides technical support to equipment and utility systems
Provides technical and project leadership and guidance to junior personnel
Demonstrates exceptional organizational, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment with enthusiasm and a proactive, positive attitude
Provide input into large new office/lab expansion projects and the Indigo strategic master plan

- Significant experience with capital projects
- Expert level process engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of fermentation, clean room design, HVAC, water supply, regulations, and heat transfer
- Demonstrated experience managing construction management and A/E firms, preferred
Qualifications:
- 10 years of process engineering experience required
- Significant bioprocess industry experience
- PHD ChE, ME or equivalent + 5 years
- MS/ME ChE, ME or equivalent + 10 years
- BS ChE, ME or equivalent +15 years
- Operating company experience supporting fermentation, facilities and/or manufacturing operations
- Significant troubleshooting experience with mechanical and building systems
