Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our growing IT team. You will lead network security initiatives and drive solutions, as well as managing, maintaining, and upgrading network and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the corporate networks.

  • Manage cybersecurity infrastructure and software suites

  • Review and investigate logs, alerts and scan results.

  • Assess and implement solutions to ensure network-related compliance controls are met

  • Work with program teams to ensure the security of cloud networks and cloud workloads.

  • Take technical lead and drive network and cybersecurity projects to completion.

Skills and Requirements

  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree, and at least 5 years of Network management/administration experience with at least 3 years cybersecurity experience.

  • Security+, CySA+, or SSCP required. CASP+ or CISSP preferred.

  • Experience implementing and managing a variety of network and cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, switches, network access control, VPNs, MFA, vulnerability scanning and remediation, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.

  • Experience securing cloud networks and workloads.

  • Experience designing and implementing corporate networks.

  • Prior experience working in National Security/Defense sectors is highly preferred.

  • Experience implementing solutions to meet and maintain compliance with NIST controls.

  • Experience implementing and managing network authentication solutions. Experience with zero trust networking is a plus.

  • Prior experience with classified networks is a plus.
