The Network Security Assurance Analyst is a position within the Devo Technology Security Assurance team, reporting to the Director, Security Assurance. The role is responsible for assessing and reporting on all network security aspects within all product and IT environments; cloud environments include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure; IT environments include Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, and Linux Ubuntu (with others as required). The role will support the Director of Security Assurance, the CISO and the broader Devo Team to deliver a consistent, best-in-class service to its global customer base across all Devo products and organizational functions. 

 The primary purpose of the role is to lead oversight and monitoring of all components of network security within the organization for configuration and compliance purposes. The Network Security Assurance Analyst will monitor cloud and security tool configurations and changes to ensure compliance with published best practices and compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The specific responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate with external departments to document current network security posture
  • Coordinate remediation activities for new findings related to network security
  • Monitor and track changes to network security posture using available tools or manual processes, as required
  • Identifying gaps in network security configuration best practices and recommend mitigating solutions
  • Informing leadership when any issues arise that require immediate attention
  • Participate in meetings, working groups, and project as requested
  • Assisting the business in implementing appropriate internal controls
  • Participate in internal and external audits as it relates to documenting or evidencing network security practices and
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

 
As this is a global organization, this role may occasionally be asked to attend conference call meetings outside of normal respective office hours.

 Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in network management, security, or auditing. Networking or Network Security certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Advanced Networking) are a plus
  • A deep understanding of information security risk and controls, particularly of ISO 27000 series security standards
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust networking concepts
  • Experience implementing or monitoring Secure Access Service Edge products is a plus
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure networking and related security controls
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills including the ability to research and understand complex processes and effectively communicate them to senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to perform network security audits and experience in participation of implementing security controls
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Personal integrity, accountability, and the ability take ownership of specific tasks and activities
  • Self-starter with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with multiple areas and complex business lines; and
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently and deliver on-time.


Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical/security field or a non-technical degree with combination of technical risk-related work experience is desirable
  • Experience maintaining and securing network environments, particularly cloud environments
  • Experience implementing or monitoring secure access service edge products
  • Fluency in English is required
  • This position may require up to 25% travel.
