More About the Role

As a team lead on our Enterprise Mobile team, you’ll help navigate the process of building a world-class ecosystem of restaurant apps. Our work is driven by three questions: what’s best for our users? What’s best for our restaurant partners? And what’s best for ourselves, as developers of our own platform? Our native Android and iOS SDKs power all the apps in our network - a platform of features and customizations that can perfectly tailor our restaurant partners’ apps to what’s best for their users. We’re a group of talented, highly-motivated individuals with a shared passion for clean, well-tested, highly maintainable software. We’re looking to expand our team to support the rapid growth we’re expecting to begin in the next couple months.

The Impact You Will Make

• How can we scale our platform and ecosystem from being able to support a couple hundred apps to, potentially, thousands?
• We need to create harmony across a variety of initiatives to make sure they have a positive impact on our overall vision. This requires us to determine a precise vision, and come up with best practices to drive consistently toward it.
• Defining attributes of team success: we need to build scaffolding for talent growth and team efficacy
• We’re constantly developing awesome new features. Just a few topics we’re looking at for early 2021: shifting to a component-based design system; increased configurability for our various rewards UXs, and creating a more robust analytics system.

What You Bring to the Table

• • 4+ years of professional native iOS or Android development experience in Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, or Java
  • 1+ years of significant project ownership experience
  • Ability to multitask and accurately reprioritize objectives on the fly
  • You have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Experience making apps that interact with RESTful APIs

  Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Multiple types of app architecture
  • Continuous integration & delivery
  • SDK development
  • API & backend development
  • Both Android and iOS development
  • Agile methodologies
