As a Backend Software Engineer for the Data Science team, you will help expand the

capabilities of our cloud ML platform to enable a wide range of new product features,

and you will be a key contributor to maintaining and scaling a high-quality production

service. You should be

• Experienced at designing clean, usable APIs.
• Excited about seeing ML solutions to address real-world problems
• Excited about high-volume data and solving the challenges it poses.
• Interested in building (or learning how to build) high-availability, performant, and scalable systems.
• Tenacious when tracking down production issues, digging into metrics and logs as needed to run a problem to the ground.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of backend development with ML exposure
• Experience programming in Python.
• Background in Linux, relational databases, AWS services a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
