At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance. WHOOP empowers users (Olympians, Professional Athletes, Fitness Enthusiasts, etc) to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.

We are looking to add highly motivated software engineering fellows to our team to help us scale and take our proven system to new heights. The WHOOP team is looking for graduating seniors or recently graduated students to join our team for an 8-week fellowship focused on iOS development. The program will allow you to learn what it takes to build a successful and rapidly growing company.

As an iOS Developer Fellow at WHOOP, you will first start with a 2-week course in learning iOS fundamentals that include creating UI elements (Interface Builder, AutoLayout), retrieving data (REST), and storing data (NSUserDefaults, CoreData). For the remainder of the program, you will be paired with another fellow to create a separate stand-alone app that represents the basics of WHOOP Strain, Recovery, and Sleep. At the end of the program, your team will present the app to the rest of the Software team 

For those who exceed expectations throughout the 8-week program, there is a strong possibility that WHOOP will extend an offer to join the Software team as a full-time hire.

This is a paid, full-time position from September 6th, 2021 to October 29th, 2021.

Qualifications:

• Available full-time from September 6th, 2021 to October 29th, 2021
• Recently graduated or graduating in 2021 or mid-2022 in a Computer Science degree or similar
• Taken an algorithms and data structures course and can apply them
• Knowledge of git and an understanding of APIs/json
• Frontend experience (ie. web) helpful for visuals
• Strong passion in learning mobile development
